Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern use of the All Haryana Attorney's Welfare Association website, voter portal, and related election services. By accessing the site or signing in to vote, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility and accounts

  • The voter portal is available only to attorneys who have been enrolled by the Association as eligible voters for a given election and whose account is active.
  • You must sign in with the email address or mobile number recorded for your account and with your password. You must not share your credentials or allow another person to vote in your name.
  • The Association may activate, deactivate, or correct accounts where enrolment records require it.

Conduct of voting

  • Voting is permitted only during the official start and end times published for that election, as determined by the server clock.
  • You may vote only for posts for which you are eligible and only for candidates listed on that ballot.
  • Where a post allows more than one selection, you must not exceed the stated maximum.
  • Before a ballot is recorded you will be asked to confirm your selections. Once a vote for a post is submitted, it is final and cannot be changed, withdrawn, or reassigned.
  • The Association and its administrators cannot and will not alter an individual ballot after it has been recorded.

Confidentiality and results

Ballots are secret. Results are calculated from recorded ballots and are published only after the election has closed and the Association has completed its verification process. Until results are published, unofficial counts or screenshots from the portal are not an official declaration.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • attempt to access another voter's account, the administration panel, or any non-public data;
  • interfere with the availability, timing, or integrity of an election, including automated or bulk requests intended to disrupt voting;
  • misrepresent your identity or eligibility;
  • copy, scrape, or republish candidate lists, voter data, or unpublished results except as the Association expressly permits;
  • use the contact form for spam or unlawful content.

Notices, content, and advertisements

Notices, pages, frequently asked questions, and any advertisements displayed on the site are provided for information. Official election rules, nomination lists, and result declarations of the Association prevail if there is any inconsistency with website copy.

Availability

We aim to keep the portal available during published voting windows. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, security, or circumstances beyond our control. If a disruption occurs during voting, the Association will issue an official notice describing any extension or remedy.

Liability

The portal is provided for the Association's election administration. To the extent permitted by law, the Association is not liable for loss arising from unauthorised use of your account, your failure to vote within the published window, or reliance on unofficial statements about results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes

These terms may be updated for a new election cycle or to reflect changes in procedure. Continued use of the portal after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The version published on this page applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Association and its elections. Disputes relating to the conduct of an election are to be raised with the Association in accordance with its election rules.

For questions about these terms, use the Contact page or write to the Association secretariat using the details published on this website.
